Tourist ban on climbing Uluru

The traditional owners of Uluru in Australia’s Northern territory have voted to ban climbing Uluru from 26 October 2019.
Uluru more widely known as Ayers Rock is a sacred site to indigenous Australians and the Aboriginal owners say it is spiritually disrespectful of their law to climb it.
