Fire injures locals and guests on Thailand's Phi Phi island

As many as six foreigners are believed to be among nine people reported injured when a fire broke out on Thailand's Phi Phi island on Tuesday night.
It is believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder explosion and the flames eventually spread to five hotels and hostels on the island.
 
More than 20 nearby shops also were damaged.
 
Authorities sealed off the area, fearing buildings were likely to collapse.
