Contaminated drinking water has been blamed for problems that have affected more than 50 resort visitors at Australia’s Tangalooma Island Resort near Brisbane.
Queensland health authorities are investigating suspected e-coli contamination, after visitors suffered problems including diarrhoea and vomiting.
Government officials suspect an underground aquifer on the island has been contaminated.
