A new budget airline - HiSky - is due to launch in April and offer services to popular European destinations from its base in Moldova.
It will compete with Air Moldova, the national carrier and FlyOne.
It says the shortest flight it will operate is between Chișinău and Bologna in Italy and it also intends to fly to Dusseldorf in Germany, Paris (France), London (UK), Dublin (Ireland) and Lisbon (Portugal).
Although HiSky is aiming for the low-cost market, it says all passengers will receive free drinks and snacks.
