Cebu dries the ink on A330 deal

Philippines-based carrier Cebu Pacific has firmed up an order with Airbus for 16 long-range A330neo aircraft. 
The contract commits the airline to the wide-body portion of a previously-announced Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which also included commitments for 10 A321XLR and five A320neo single-aisle aircraft.

The multi-million dollar upgrade includes a significant expansion of the dwelling area, with a larger link connecting Terminals 2 and 3, additional seating and escalators, an improved outdoor taxi pick-up zone and repositioned hospitality.

Thomson given Hilton cluster role in NZ

Scott Thomson (pictured) has been appointed cluster general manager for Hilton Auckland and Hilton Lake Taupo in New Zealand.
Thomson previously was general manager of Hilton Taipei and has held various general manager roles in Hong Kong, Mumbai and New Delhi. At Hilton Auckland, he will be responsible for the 187-room property and Hilton Lake Taupo, consisting of 113 guest rooms and suites.
