Tourism Western Australia has handed over management of its Western Australia Tourism Exchange (WATE) to the WA chapter of the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC). An announcement was made at the conclusion of the annual event in Perth today.
The WATE mart has been operating in WA for 20 years
ATEC branch manager in Western Australia Margaret Wilson said the show was very successful and would be maintained in its current format with possible minor tweaking of the program. Details of the 2010 event are expected to be announced next month.
