V Australia makes senior SA appointment |

Long-haul airline V Australia has appointed Isabel Hancock its regional commercial manager - Southern Africa.
Hancock joins V Australia with the benefit of more than 20 years experience in aviation with Swissair and Swiss International Airlines in South Africa, including stints as chairman of the Board of Airline Representatives of South Africa and serving as a trustee and a director of the Board of Aviation Co-ordination Services.
Hancock will have wide-ranging responsibilities including liaison with regulatory authorities and government agencies, overseeing ground handling and General Sales Agent arrangements, corporate sector business development, retail and wholesale travel industry liaison and marketing initiatives for the region.
V Australia will inaugurate flights from Johannesburg to Melbourne on 13 March, 2010.
