International air links to Nepal are to expand, with new airlines given operating permits and old airlines increasing flight frequencies, the Kathmandu Post says.

New services will be operated by UAE budget carrier flydubai and India’s Kingfisher, while Jet Airways has applied to operate additional flights on the Mumbai-Kathmandu and Delhi-Kathmandu sectors.


China Eastern Airlines already has started Kunming-Kathmandu flights and Dragon Air has doubled its frequencies to the country.
