Australian airline Qantas is changing operating times for its Perth-Hong Kong and Brisbane-Hong Kong services from 29 March 2010 to provide better connections.
QF67 from Perth to Hong Kong will move from a 09.20hrs departure to a 22.15hrs departure, arriving in Hong Kong at 06.05hrs local time the following day.
Qantas regional general manager - Western Australia Ian Gay said: “The new times will give customers access to a wider range of connections from Hong Kong on to London and North East Asia, including to Beijing and Shanghai.
“QF67 will continue to operate three services a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will now connect with QF29 between Hong Kong and London, providing an additional United Kingdom option to QF71 and QF77 from Perth to London via Singapore.”
The return flight QF68 from Hong Kong to Perth will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, departing Hong Kong at 23.30hrs and arriving in Perth at 07.20hrs the following day.
Also, QF97 from Brisbane to Hong Kong will move from an 11.15hrs departure to a 23.05hrs departure, arriving in Hong Kong at 06.05hrs local time the following day.
QF97 will operate four flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and will now connect with QF29 between Hong Kong and London, providing an additional United Kingdom option to QF51 from Brisbane to London via Singapore.
Qantas will also increase its services from Queensland to Hong Kong in February to accommodate increased demand over the Lunar New Year period.
