The Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2, will be based in Australia for 28 days in 2012 for a history-making circumnavigation that will see it visit five states and the Northern Territory.
The ship will call at eight Australian ports: Sydney, Fremantle, Adelaide and the Whitsundays as well as its maiden visits to Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne and Brisbane. The circumnavigation also will include a call at Bali, Indonesia.
The Australian deployment will be the longest Queen Mary 2 has been based in one country outside its northern hemisphere home ports of Southampton and New York.
