The industry-wide benchmark, which is implemented by the Meetings Industry Association, recognises organisations for their provision of conferences and events that operate to a high standard, both legally and ethically.

The Southport Theatre and Convention Centre’s assessment saw it joining the area’s convention bureau, Southport Conferences, and associated venues including the Ramada Plaza, Vincent Hotel, Scarisbrick Hotel, The Royal Clifton Hotel and Spa, The Prince of Wales Hotel, Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa and Aintree Racecourse.
