The UK government says it believes Islamic State militants are planning to attack UK infrastructure, including air traffic control.

Chancellor George Osborne said ISIS is trying to build the capability to hack key services.

Osborne now will commit GBP1.9 million a year by 2020 to fight cybercrime.

"From banks to cars, military to schools, whatever is on line is a target," Osborne said. "The stakes could hardly be higher."

Home secretary Theresa May said security will be stepped up at airports and ports and in major UK cities.
