China is to spend about US$12 billion this year on civil aviation infrastructure, especially airports, as part of attempts to repair its failing economy.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China will speed construction of new airports including in Beijing, Chengdu, Qingdao, Xiamen and Dalian.
