Tigerair Taiwan is opening a flight route serving Sendai in Japan, a favorite place to see red maple leaves in the autumn.
According to Tigerair, a joint venture between Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) and Singapore's budget airline Tiger Airways, it will launch the Taoyuan-Sendai route June 29.
