As a result of the ongoing volcanic eruption at Mt Rinjani affecting flights to and from Bali, Virgin Australia is offering passengers booked to travel to Denpasar (Bali) the option of switching their flights to alternative holiday destinations. To be eligible, customers must have been booked to travel between Tuesday 03 November to Wednesday 11 November (inclusive) and must not have commenced their travel.
Customers whose flights have been cancelled as a result of the volcanic activity will be able to change their booking to another date or alternative destination within 14 days without fee or receive a full travel credit by contacting VA's Guest Contact Centre on 07 3119 7019 (from Australia), 00 1803 061 2002 (from Indonesia) or +61 7 3119 7019 from other international locations.
