Niuean-born and raised, Hunt has spent much of her career in human resources and management in New Zealand and now returns to Niue to fulfil a dream shared with her late husband, to create an island retreat on Niue. This dream will be realised in May when she opens her Humu Island Retreat which will comprise two studio styled cottages in Niue’s northern village of Mutalau.
Meanwhile, at Scenic Matavai Resort, area general manager Brett Inkster has handed over the reins to incoming general manager Simon Jackson.
