Fiji One upgraded as charter demand booms

Captain Cook Cruises’ Fiji sailing catamaran Fiji One has been refurbished to meet growing charter demand.

According to Tony Acland, Captain Cook Cruises Fiji’s general manager: “Demand for charter has gone through the roof. Business is coming from overseas markets like New Zealand, USA and Australia, as well as from the local Fijian market.”

Operating from Denarau Marina, Nadi and at 30 metres in length, Fiji One is one of the largest catamarans in the Southern Hemisphere.

Its refurbishment took two months, with all internal spaces, toilets and galley given a modern, sleek look including new carpet, new wall coverings and with existing furnishings re-upholstered.

Able to carry up to 250 passengers, Fiji One is used for sunset dinner cruises around Nadi Bay and also is available for high end cocktail parties, private dinners, wedding receptions, full day island experiences at Tivua Island and party boat transfers to other nearby islands.
