The 23rd annual APHM International Healthcare Conference & Exhibition will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, 15-17 June 2015.
Organised by the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM), the event this year will feature the minister of Health for Malayasia Datuk Seri dr S. Subramaniam.
A one-day APHM International Nursing Conference and one day APHM Medico-Legal Conference (jointly organised with the Medico Legal Society of Malaysia) will be held at the same time, in conjunction with the main conference and exhibition. This year, APHM expects 200 exhibitors from China, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.
The theme this year is "Managing Today's Hospitals in the Current Regulatory Environment," a timely topic in view of the current economic situation where new regulatory systems are being put in place to manage the country's economy, in particularly the healthcare industry.
Experts speaking at the event include: keynote speaker senator Dato’ Sri Idris Jala, minister in prime minister’s Office & chief executive, Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU); Mike Wagner, executive director, The Advisory Board Company, USA; Paula Wilson, president and ceo, Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International and dr Wong Chiang Yin, group ceo and executive director, TMC Life Sciences Berhad.
The exhibition will showcase some of the latest medical equipment, medical devices and disposables, hospital information systems, physiotherapy and rehabilitation and healthcare educational programs.
