UK-based Thomson Airways says it is considering seating configurations that will seat parents and children face-to-face around a table.
The setup is similar to that offered on UK trains and one of several ideas Thomson is considering for the new fleet of 47 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft it has on order.
It also is considering "couple pods," featuring a table between two seats, with mood lighting.
