South America’s Lan Airlines’ new mobile app for iPhone was the most downloaded travel app from the Apple Store in Chile, and number two in Peru and Argentina. To date, the application has been downloaded more than 100,000 times.
With the application, passengers can use a mobile device to check in for their Lan and Tam flights, select their seats and save boarding passes without printing. They can also administer and manage the details of their trips through the "My Trips" option, and check the status of their flights.
In addition, Lanpass and Tam Fidelidade members can review kilometres and points accumulated, benefits of their category and obtain their virtual cards.
