Bangkok-based Exotissimo Travel is offering in-depth travel experiences throughout China, after already expanding out of Southeast Asia into Indonesia and Japan.
Its new office in Beijing is a fully licensed inbound operator, taking operations offices to a total number of 19 in eight countries across Asia, employing 600 full-time staff.

Exotissimo Travel chief operating officer Hamish Keith, said: "Exo China adds a new dimension to travel in the region, introducing a broad range of programs to explore its 22 provinces, five autonomous regions and five municipalities. The programs also are exploring areas where many other DMCs do not operate, including the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau."

Exotissimo programs focus on connective ‘experiences’, educating and revealing China’s ancient civilisation through participation and connection both with its people and landscapes. The new company intends to explore China under three encompassing categories: Classical China - through the arts, architecture and cuisine; SW China and Minorities - by discovering markets and villages and Great Landscape tours - uncovering the spectacular terrain including the Tibetan Plateau.

Exotissimo China has 11 full-time staff including Olivier Marchesin, the former general manager of Exo Cambodia as managing director, Susan Zhong as general manager and Julien Monnerie as product manager.
