ICC Sydney now finalising its wine list

Wine producers and distributors are being urged to submit their best drops to International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) this month, as the venue looks to finalise a wine collection ahead of its opening in December.

Collated by sommelier and ICC Sydney’s beverage operations and cellar manager William Wilson, the wine list will focus on locally and sustainably-produced wines.

A panel of industry experts led by Wilson will put all submitted wines through their paces in a series of tasting sessions starting 18 July 2016.

According to Wilson, ICC Sydney’s wine collection will spotlight the nation’s best producers and provide an outstanding platform for local labels to be exposed to a huge number of Australian and international guests.

“More than 70,000 bottles of wine will be served annually to an ongoing calendar of exhibitions, conventions and entertainment acts across the integrated precinct,” said Wilson.
