Boeing wins more Chinese carrier orders

The UK's Farnborough Air Show has seen two more Chinese carriers opt for Boeing metal.


Ruili Airlines, a low-cost carrier based in Yunnan province, firmed up an order for six 787-9 models in order to establish long-range services.


“Ruili Airlines wants Yunnan to be the gateway between Southwest China and the rest of the world,” Ma Zhanwei, chairman of Ruili Airlines said.


A second Chinese airline, Donghai Airlines, ordered five 787-9s and 25 737 Max8 single-aisle planes.
