HNA buys 23.7pc of Azul

Chinese carrier (and HNA subsidiary) Hainan Airlines has made a US$450-million purchase of 23.7 per cent of Brazil's third-largest airline, Azul.

"We view Azul as a strong and lasting partner for HNA to explore further expansion and capital investment in Latin America," Adam Tan, chief executive of HNA Group said.
