Brexit hits holidaymakers' wallets

British short-haul holidaymakers are seeing weaker exchange rates hit their overseas spending post the UK's decision to exit the European Union (EU), with the average UK traveller to the EU saying they are GBP51 worse off per week.


The figure is based on the average UK holidaymaker spending GBP241 per week while on holiday and exchange rates falling 17.5 per cent since the vote to leave the EU.
