Amara adds halal options

MICE organisers  hosting events at Amara Singapore now can choose halal-certified menus approved by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura  (MUIS).


With escalating demand from the global Muslim travel market (which accounted for an estimated 117 million travellers in 2015), the hotel is tapping into the segment and will host its first Malay bridal showcase 27 August 2016. Themed Cinta Bahagia @ Amara, this showcase presents the latest and trendsetting Malay wedding decorations and dais, a line-up of strategic services from vendors including photography, videography, makeup and styling, wedding dresses, entertainment and a  sampling of halal-certified wedding menus.

A full-day meeting package starts from S$85 per person, while a half-day meeting package is available from S$55 per person plus 10 per cent service charge and seven per cent government tax.
