Monarch given GBP165 million

UK-based Monarch has been given a GBP165 million cash injection from owner Greybull Capital, enabling it to secure its Air Travel Operators’ Licence for another year.
The GBP165 million lifeline will be used to buy 30 new Boeing 737s, with the option of 15 more.
The new fleet will be delivered over several years, with the first delivery in 2018.
