USA-based 'ultra' budget carrier Spirit Airlines is reducing the size of the cabin baggage a passenger can carry free on its new 'Bare Fare’ ticket.

When the airline introduces the new ticket on 4 April, fliers’ maximum carry on dimensions will be 45 x 35 x 20cm although they can pay US$26 more to take a larger item.
