Karen Bolinger, ceo of the Melbourne Convention Bureau has been elected president of the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) replacing  Lyn Lewis-Smith, ceo of Business Events Sydney, who served in the role for four years.

Michael Matthews, ceo at the Canberra Convention Bureau is now treasurer, and Damien Kitto, ceo of Adelaide Convention Bureau is vice president.
