Israel's flag carrier El Al reportedly has signed a preliminary order for nine additional Boeing 787-9s and options for another six. Three 787-9s currently are scheduled for delivery between 2029 and 2030. 

Its current Boeing 787 fleet is expected to grow from 16 to 22 aircraft between 2028 and 2030.
