Google adds travel options

Internet search engine Google - ahead of integrating technology from its recent takeover of ITA Software - has launched new travel search features.

It now automatically displays carriers' schedules as part of flight-related search results.

Querying 'flights from Perth to Sydney' in the search box now returns details of available flights between the two cities.
