Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) and HKT have partnered to deliver 5G connectivity at the HK facility.

The high-speed, ultra-low latency, secure and reliable 5G private network will give Hactl a smart, interconnected ecosystem, paving the way for the future adoption of advanced technologies for enhanced productivity.

FAA to order Boeing latch inspections?

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says it will respond to a National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) call to mandate inspections of latches on some Boeing 757, 727 and 737 doors, prompted by the 2023 emergency evacuation of a FedEx cargo jet.
The NTSB says the latches ‘could lead to delayed evacuation during an emergency should the slide become jammed’.
