SIA to contest long-haul budget market

With a seeming flood of low-fare carrier entrants now flying to, through and from Asia and competing with legacy carriers, Singapore's Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced its intention to establish a new no-frills, low-fare airline flying wide-body aircraft on medium and long-haul routes.
