United Airlines Cargo has expanded its cargo sales and service centre to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week to better assist North American customers with booking and tracking, and to provide around-the-clock tools and information customers need to manage their shipments.

LAN Cargo, a cargo subsidiary of LAN Airlines SA, has presented Colombian aviation authorities with a formal proposal for the creation of a new cargo airline in that country. If approved by the government, the carrier will have a period of 12 months to launch its subsidiary’s operations.
