West Atlantic applies for US permit

West Atlantic Cargo Airlines of Sweden has applied for a US foreign air carrier permit from the US Department of Transportation (DoT) to allow it to "transport property and mail between any point or point in the European Union and the US, and between any point or points in third countries and the US”.

Kuehne+Nagel has partnered with IAG to reduce emissions by purchasing eight million litres of sustainable aviation fuel. The delivery will be over 2022 and will remove approximately 18,300 tonnes of CO2, which is the equivalent of 350 British Airways flights between London and New York.
