SHSCM inks global UFL deal

U-Freight Group (UFL) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Hongyu Supply Chain Management Co (SHSCM).
SHSCM specialises in medical and healthcare products and together they plan to develop complementary domestic and foreign supply chain management networks, incorporating transportation, storage and associated logistics services, creating a global one-stop medical supply chain service as well as more integrated distribution and fulfilment operations.

The British International Freight Association (BIFA) has named Pawel Jarza (pictured right) frontier policy manager, in its policy and compliance team.

Jarza will be responsible for liaison with UK government departments such as HMRC and Border Force, as well as other relevant external stakeholders, working closely with Igor Popovics, policy advisor Customs and Robert Windsor, member services director policy and compliance.
