Atlas signs off on dispatchers' agreement, pilots still waiting

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings (the parent of Atlas Air and Polar Air) has inked a collective bargaining agreement with dispatchers valid for four years and covering pay increases plus benefits associated with staff relocation as part of major customer Amazon’s planned relocation to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) from Wilmington, Ohio.
John Dietrich, executive vice president and coo at Atlas Air Worldwide said the new agreement extends "a solid contract that continues to serve us all very well".
 
Meanwhile, long-term negotiations with the Atlas pilots union APA are ongoing.

Robert Kirchner, an Atlas Air pilot and executive council chairman of APA has called on the company to rectify problems including "substandard pay and working conditions, attrition and retention issues".
