SF Express in Chinese freight hub move

Chinese delivery firm SF Express has inked a deal with the Hubei provincial government to build a freight airport.
The airport will need an investment of CNY5 billion and will be built in the city of Ezhou.
 
A joint venture of Hubei Provincial Transport Investment Group, Shenzhen SF Taisen (a wholly-owned subsidiary of SF Express) and Shenzhen Nongyin Airport Investment will manage the project.
 
The airport is expected to handle 2.45 million tonnes of cargo annually by 2025.
