After a power outage all but closed the USA's Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to freight and passengers on Sunday, the airport is recovering and carriers are trying to get their Xmas schedules back on track.
More than 1,500 flights had to be cancelled in the last two days of the outage alone.

A large percentage of the cancelled flights belonged to Delta Air Lines, which is headquartered in the city.

Delta Cargo declared an embargo on all products scheduled for carriage through Tuesday, December 19.
