German trucking firm Sovereign Speed has acquired the Kassel-based airline Businesswings and now will offer customers overnight transport via its own express network or by air.

Frank Liebelt, group managing director of Sovereign Speed said Businesswings will operate as a subsidiary, with the company's managing director Jens Maecker and staff transferring to Sovereign.
