The first converted Airbus A320 passenger to freighter aircraft has been delivered to launch customer Vaayu Group at ST Engineering’s airframe facility in Singapore.

 

ST has an agreement with Vaayu for up to five of the type.

 

The plane will fly for Pradhaan Air Express, a new, Delhi-based all-cargo airline in India that is a sub-lessee of Vaayu.

 

The A320P2F can take up to 10 ULD containers and one pallet position in the main deck, and seven container positions in the lower deck. 

 

It has a gross payload of up to 21 tonnes at a maximum range of 1,850NM and a claimed total usable containerised volume of 159m3 (approx. 5,600ft3).
