BA man found guilty of terrorist plot

An Islamist employed by UK carrier British Airways as a computer expert has been found guilty of plotting with a radical cleric to blow up a plane bound from the UK to the United States.

Rajib Karim, 31, was found guilty of four counts of engaging in preparation for terrorist attacks.

He had gained the job at the airline to exploit terrorist purposes, the jurors ruled.
