Virgin systems offline again

Australia's Virgin Blue's reservations and baggage system crashed mid week, affecting thousands of passengers before being restored Wednesday.

The problem affected Sydney, Hobart, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane airports.

Last year, the carrier was badly affected by a failure of its Navitaire system.
