Atlas flies two more freighters for Panalpina

Atlas Air has begun its freighter service into the new Dubai World Central (DWC)-Al Maktoum International Airport on behalf of long-standing ACMI customer Panalpina Group.

The Boeing 747-400 freighter is the first in a new controlled airfreight series by Panalpina.

The service includes two weekly flights into Dubai as part of a round-the-world rotation connecting Luxembourg, Dubai, South Africa, Hong Kong, North America and Latin America.

A second Atlas Air B747-400 freighter is being used by Panalpina on a new express service between Huntsville, USA and Sao Paulo, Brazil, enhancing connections between Asia, North America and Latin America.
