EU okays Cathay-Air China deal

Ahead of Chinese approval for the proposal, European regulators have okayed the Cathay Pacific Airways - Air China cargo deal.

Hong Kong-based Cathay said early this year it wanted to link with Air China to capture the lucrative air cargo business in two top Chinese manufacturing centres.
