Virgin Australia to offer bag tracking app

Virgin Australia (VA) is to offer baggage tracking for passengers through a smartphone app that will progressively roll out across its network after its Brisbane-Sydney route launch last week.


Passengers will receive a 'push notification' when their luggage is received and another when it arrives at their destination.

Passengers will need to check the app to check whether their flight is eligible for bag tracking.

Virgin Australia said: "The introduction of bag tracking capabilities is another VA award-winning product offering.”
