Virgin Australia puts half a million seats on sale

Virgin Australia has launched a sale with 500,000 discounted domestic and international fares on offer from A$49.


The sale runs until midnight AEST on Monday 22 January 2024 unless sold out prior, for travel on select dates and destinations between 29 January and 30 November 2024 and all sale fares include frequent flyer points and status credits. 

Domestic one-way economy lite sale fares include Melbourne-Perth from A$215, Sydney-Ballina (Byron Bay) from A$49, 

Melbourne-Launceston from A$59, Sydney-Gold Coast from A$79, Melbourne-Gold Coast from A$109 and Sydney-Hamilton Island from A$119.

International deals include Brisbane-Port Vila (Vanuatu) from A$419, Sydney-Queenstown (NZ) from A$435, Adelaide-Denpasar (Bali) from A$449 and Cairns-Haneda (Tokyo) from A$679.  

Virgin Australia said the sale was for Australians who need a “holiday after the holidays”.
