Passaro joins Queensland Events

Sandra Passaro has taken up her new role as head of business events at Queensland Events.

Passaro's new job involves working with stakeholders including Tourism Queensland, the State’s convention centre managers and regional convention bureaux, administering a business events grants program and providing funding support for bids for major business events.


Most recently director of Sandra Passaro Consulting, Passaro has worked with clients including Conventions Australia, Brookwater Golf Club, Tourism Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.


She also held the role of director – Business Tourism at the Gold Coast Convention Bureau from May 1994 to December 2006.
