UAE-based Emirates is to launch services to Baghdad from July 1 this year.

Iraq will be the airline's 103rd international destination, as well as one of six new destinations the carrier adds this year.

Emirates will operate three services a week to Iraq - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - using Airbus A330-200s configured with 12 first class, 42 business and 183 economy seats.
