Oberstar calls on Justice Dept to block United deal

The chairman of the US House Transportation committee has again called on the Justice Department to block the planned merger of United Airlines and Continental Airlines.

Congressman Jim Oberstar said the United-Continental deal will lead to an airline system dominated by three mega-carriers.

United and Continental have said only a handful of their domestic routes overlap.
